Kalimag is the standard language spoken by all elementals.[1][2] It is an obscure tongue spoken only by a few scholars, as the native speakers are rarely encountered in any sort of friendly capacity.[3]

It has four dialects, each spoken by a given elemental type: Aquan (water), Auran (air), Ignan (fire), and Terran (earth). Elemental conglomerates are known to speak two or more of these dialects, depending on their elemental makeup.[4]
