The Brotherhood of the Horse is the primary knightly order of the Kingdom of Stormwind. It was largely destroyed by the end of the First War, but continued to serve in the subsequent Alliance of Lordaeron and as guerilla fighters during Horde occupation. Its recovery took many years.
