The rush'kah is a wooden[1] ceremonial mask worn by shadowhunters.[2] They are used to channel the spirits of their Loa.[3] Many shadowhunters wear these unique masks to cover their features and inspire fear in others.[2]

While donned, the mask grants the wearer the ability to see invisible and incorporeal creatures. It also provides the wearer a measure of protection against evil spirits and undead.[1]
