Kalimdor (landmass)

Ancient Kalimdor was the supercontinent of Azeroth prior to the Great Sundering and the War of the Ancients. It was shattered by the explosion of the Well of Eternity, leading to a loss of 80% of the continent.

The former centre of this continent is now the Maelstrom. Around this are the continents known as the Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, and Northrend, as well as various islands.
